It all begins with an idea. Our Scouts wanted a grand adventure. Looking around us we sought out the experience offered by the 2nd least visited National Park in the country. Isle Royale National Park offers hiking, adventure, sweeping views and wildlife viewing few get to experience. 2025 is our year for adventure!

The Scout planning committee is underway with gathering the plans to prepare physically and mentally for the trip. Hiking and Backpacking merit badges are underway for preparation work along with Wilderness First Aid training in the spring. Many practice hikes and shakedown trips will lead up to our adventure. This will give ample opportunity to test out gear and make adjustments to traveling under weight of packs.

While the core group is assembled, experiences are best when shared. We have 6 adults and 6 scouts planning on taking on this adventure so far and have room for 8 more.
